Good day, ma'am and sir. My name is Desiree, and I'm 41 years old from the Philippines. I'm married and have three children who are 22, 18, and 15 years old. I worked as a helper in Bahrain for three years, from 2018 to 2021. During that time, I did household chores like cleaning, cooking, laundry, ironing, and taking care of two kids. After that, I worked in Malaysia as a helper from 2022 to 2024, where I took care of seven kids. I also cleaned the house, washed clothes, did the ironing, and took the kids to school and picked them up. Now I have one year of experience here in Hong Kong, where I assisted a bedridden man. I did cleaning, laundry, ironing, and cooked vegetarian Chinese food. Unfortunately, my current employer no longer needs my help because her husband has passed away, and she decided to terminate my contract, and I will be released on June 30, 2026.
