Hi, I’m Emelie, and I’m 41 years old. I’ve been a domestic helper for over 7 years now. I spent 5 years in the Middle East, mostly in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and I’ve been in Hong Kong for about 2 years and 3 months. With my first employer here, I finished my 2 year contract. Unfortunately, my 2nd employer Terminated our contract and I was released on April 28, 2026, where I worked for a family of three a couple and their 10 year old son. I took care of their son and also looked after their small dog, and now I’m looking for a new employer

In Saudi Arabia, I took care of a family with 6 adults. My main tasks were cleaning the house, doing laundry, ironing, cooking, and washing dishes. For my first employer in Hong Kong, I helped a family of 5, which included a couple and their three kids. I handled all household chores and worked alongside another Filipina worker to help take care of the kids. This meant picking them up from school, grocery shopping, cooking, playing with them, and assisting with their homework.
