Hi, I’m Evana. I’m 28 years old, single, and I come from Indonesia. I’ve been working as a domestic helper in Hong Kong for about 2.5 years now.
Right now, I’m with a family of four and their dog. I’ve been here for a year, and my job includes cleaning, cooking, and taking care of other household tasks.
Before this, I spent 1.5 years caring for an elderly person, from August 2021 to March 2023, but I had to stop because she passed away.
I’m looking for a new job because my current work is really demanding. I start at 7 am and often finish around midnight or 1 am, and I don’t get enough breaks.
