Hello Madam, my name is Evangeline. I'm 52 years old, Filipino, and a single mother. I've been working in Hong Kong for about 7 years with different employers. Right now, I'm on my second contract with my current family, which will end on November 18, 2026. I take care of a family of six, including a 5-month-old baby. I'm not sure I can finish my contract because my job has changed a lot. We now have a co-worker to help take care of the baby, so my main responsibilities are cooking, cleaning my employer's room, marketing, cleaning the house, doing laundry, ironing, and also taking care of the baby when my co-worker is off. My employer’s house is quite big, about 4,250 square feet. When it comes to work, I really want to have a peaceful day while doing my chores. Things have become complicated since my employer's daughter-in-law came, and it's made me consider looking for a new job. I don't think I will sign another contract if things don’t improve, and since I'm not happy working there anymore, I’ve decided to give them a month’s notice and to start looking for a new employer. I hope you will give me a chance to work and be part of your family. I'm waiting for this opportunity.
