Hi, I'm Gelden, 55 years old, and I'm from the Philippines. I have been a domestic helper here in Hong Kong for 12 years. My first job was from 2014 to 2016 with a Chinese family. They had two kids, aged 15 and 19, and lived in a three-story house. My second job was from 2016 to 2018, also with a Chinese family, but they had just one 8-year-old child and lived in a smaller place, about 350 square meters. Currently, I'm with my third employer since 2018. My employer is a single Chinese father with two children, a daughter and a son, aged 20 and 32, and they live in a 500 square meter home. My duties include cooking, ironing, laundry, grocery shopping, cleaning the house, and taking care of their cat.
