Hi, I’m Gemma. I’m 40 years old, married, and I have two sons who are 17. I’ve worked as a domestic helper in Malaysia for 5 years, where I took care of a 2-year-old. While the baby was sleeping, I handled housework like ironing, washing, cleaning, and even washing the car. Now, I’m in Hong Kong, where I’ve been working as a domestic helper with my current employer for 9 months. I started this job in November 2025, and I manage a household with four family members—two adults and two kids. My responsibilities include taking care of the kids and doing all the general housework. However, due to personal reasons, I’ve decided to break my contract, and my last working day will be August 31, 2026.
