Hi, my name is Gerla. I'm 28 years old and I’m from the Philippines. Right now, I’m working in Hong Kong as a domestic helper. I’ve been with my current employer for almost 4 years, and during this time, I’ve taken care of their pets, which include two black and brown Golden Retrievers, two Border Collies, one dog that looks like a Labrador, and a mixed breed Husky. I make sure to walk the dogs to let them pee, and on weekends, we enjoy going to a dog swimming pool together. Once a week, I also go to the market to buy groceries for my employer to last the whole week. Especially during Chinese New Year, I help my boss prepare food for their family gathering. My contract will finish on November 11, 2026, and I’m now looking for a new employer. I’m a hardworking and loyal person, and I can work independently without needing much supervision.
