Gretchen

Hi there, my name is Gretchen. I’m 36 years old and I have two kids, who are 13 and 3 years old. I have two and a half years of experience working in Saudi Arabia, where I handled household chores, and then in Kuwait City, I spent six years with a very kind Kuwaiti couple and their newborn baby. Right now, I’m in Hong Kong working as a domestic helper with a newborn baby, and I’m about to finish my contract on April 11. All my employers have been good to me, but I’m leaving because I need a better salary. I'm supporting my sister who's studying nursing and my brother who's studying criminology, plus my daughter who's in high school. On top of that, my parents have ongoing medical needs. So, to be honest, I really need a higher salary to help take care of them and myself while I’m working. I’m not afraid of hard work, I’m ready to give my best for a fair salary.
