Hi, I’m Gretchen. I’m 40 years old and currently working in Hong Kong as a domestic helper since January 2026. I'm taking care of my current employer's household, which includes one adult and one child. My duties involve looking after three cats and one dog, taking care of an 8-year-old girl, and doing activities together like swimming and going to the learning center. I also handle cleaning, shopping, cooking, laundry, and ironing. For personal reasons, I've decided to break my contract with my current employer, and I will be released on August 15, 2026. I'm hoping to find a new employer soon. Before this, I worked in Taiwan for 3 years and 5 months. There, I took care of a big family with four adults and two children. My responsibilities were similar: cleaning the house, washing, ironing, cooking, shopping, and keeping everything organized. I also helped take care of twins and elderly family members when needed, making sure they were safe, comfortable, and their daily needs were met.
