Hi, I’m Gretchen, and I'm 37 years old from the Philippines. I have about 3 years of experience as a domestic helper in Jordan, where I worked as a nanny for a 4-year-old boy who was an only child. My job involved looking after him, cooking meals, cleaning the house, doing laundry, helping him with his homework, and making sure he was safe and comfortable. Spending all that time with a young child helped me become more patient, organized, and responsible.

Right now, I'm in Hong Kong and I’ve been working for my current employer for 7 months. I help a couple with their two kids, focusing on cooking, housekeeping, and taking care of the children. Due to some personal reasons, I’m planning to break my contract but I will only leave once I find a new employer.

Besides working with kids, I also have experience caring for an elderly stroke patient who was paralyzed and needed feeding through a nasogastric tube. This taught me to be patient, careful, and compassionate, especially with someone who has special needs. I am hardworking, trustworthy, and always eager to learn. I can handle pressure well, and I adapt quickly to new routines and responsibilities. I really enjoy caring for children and making sure they feel happy and safe.
