Ime

Hi, I’m Ime. I’m 43 years old and I have one child. I’ve been working with my current employer for almost two years, and I’ll be finishing my contract early on October 4, 2026.

I work in a Chinese household, taking care of a working mom and dad and their 8-year-old twin boys in TKO. I love being outdoors; during the cold season, I enjoy hiking, and in the hot season, I like going to the beach. I’m also an active member of Caritas, doing charity work that focuses on helping helpers in Hong Kong. Right now, I’m taking online classes with government institutions in the Philippines to enhance my skills. Just to share, I have never borrowed money from any lending company during my nine years in Hong Kong. I actually have two bank accounts, one in Hong Kong and one in the Philippines, where I save for my 19-year-old son and my mom, who has diabetes. As a domestic helper, I’ve learned a lot about empathy, which I believe is one of the most important qualities to have.
