Hi, I’m Imelda. I’m 35 years old and I’m from the Philippines. I graduated from high school and I’m a single mom with two daughters, who are currently 13 and 12 years old. I started my career working as a service crew cashier in a Korean restaurant for 5 years, from 2010 to 2015. After that, I went abroad to the Middle East to work as a nanny for two kids, ages 9 and 7, with a 3-year-old joining the family later on. While I was there, I did some cleaning and cooking when it was needed. Then, I moved to Hong Kong, where I worked from January 2019 to December 2021, taking care of a 3-year-old. My responsibilities included cleaning, cooking, and shopping. From January 2021 to 2024, I managed a household with three adults, where I also cooked, cleaned, and did the marketing. I worked briefly with another family that had a couple and a newborn. Currently, I’ve been with my employer in Hong Kong for about 8 months, starting my job on August 14, 2025 up to present. Unfortunately, I have some issues with my daughter that require my attention, so I’m breaking my contract on May 25, 2026. I’m now looking for a new employer. Thank you for considering me.
