Hi! My name is Irene. I’m 33 years old and I’m from the Philippines. I have an 8-year-old daughter. I’ve worked as a domestic helper in Qatar for 2.5 years, and I’m currently in Hong Kong looking for a new employer. During my time in Qatar, I learned a lot about working with people from different backgrounds, especially Westerners. I’ve found it really helpful to understand what employers need so I can provide the right support. I also think it’s important to know how each employer prefers things done, since everyone has their own standards for cleanliness and organization. I’m used to working independently once I get clear instructions. I'm planning to break my current contract when I find a new employer. I believe that good communication is really the key to a positive working relationship. I would love the chance to interview with you.
