Hi, I'm Irene, 40 years old from the Philippines, and I’m looking for a good employer to work with. I’ve spent 10 years and 6 months working as a domestic helper in Hong Kong. My first employer was great; I worked with them for 8 years, and when I started, their child was just 8 years old. My responsibilities included cooking, cleaning the house, washing the car, taking care of pets, and sometimes looking after the grandparents. My second job was with a Korean family, but I only stayed for 6 months because I had to break my contract.

Now, I’m with my third employer for 2 years, taking care of a family of two adults and one child. My duties are similar: looking after the child, cooking, cleaning, washing the car, and helping care for the grandfather. I’ve finished my contract, and I will be released on November 20, 2026. My employer has kindly extended my service for a month as they wait for my replacement. I’m looking for a new employer and hope to find one soon. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you!
