Hi, I’m Jellamae. I’m 38 years old and have been working as a domestic helper for almost10 years. I arrived in Hong Kong in 2012 and spent 6 years with a Chinese family that had two adults and two kids. In 2018, I went back home to have a child, but I returned to Hong Kong in 2022. I then worked for another Chinese family with two adults, a toddler, and a newborn for about a year and five months, but they moved to Cambridge in the UK. After that, I got a new job taking care of a 72 year old woman, that I've worked for 1 year and 6 months, but she sadly passed away recently in May 2026. Because of that, my employer had to terminate my contract, and I was released on May 20, 2026. I like to think of myself as hardworking and honest, and I can work independently. I prefer to have Saturdays off because I go to church that day. I’m really hoping to find a new employer soon. Thank you!
