Dear Future Employer, my name is Jemely. I’m 33 years old and a single mother to a 12-year-old son. I’m originally from the Philippines, and I’ve been working in Hong Kong as domestic helper for almost six years. For the past 9 months, I’ve been working with the same employer since August 14, 2019.

Unfortunately, I am terminated because my employer is facing financial issues. They will officially release me in July or August, which gives me some time to find a new job. They’ve also offered to provide me with a reference letter.

In my current job, I have experience taking care of both children and adults while also managing household tasks. My daily responsibilities include marketing, doing laundry, preparing simple Chinese meals, and grocery shopping. I consider myself a good listener, and I believe I’m trustworthy, honest, kind, and loving, especially when it comes to working with kids.
