Hi, I’m Jenilyn Joyce. I’m 40 years old and single, and I have two boys back home in the Philippines who are 20 and 18. I’ve been working as a domestic helper for 4 years and 7 months. I spent almost four years in Saudi Arabia with two different employers, the first one from 2015 to 2017, and the second from 2018 to 2020. Right now, I’m in Hong Kong, and I have been working for my current employer for 7 months. I take care of their 4-year-old, which includes taking him to school, and while he’s at school, I do cleaning, washing, and ironing. In the afternoons, I help him with playdates and other activities. My contract was terminated, and I was released on August 14, 2026. Before coming to Hong Kong, I also worked as a local helper in BGC in the Philippines for three years from 2021 to 2024.
