Hi, I'm Jen. I'm 42 years old, married, and blessed with two kids: a 21-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy. I started working from 2006 to 2011 as a nanny in the United Arab Emirates. I served in an Arab family of four, including two adults, a three-year-old girl, and a newborn boy. I decided to go back to the Philippines to take a break and stay with my family. In 2014, I chose to work in Hong Kong to earn money and support my family, especially my children's education. My first employer was in Olympic Kowloon, where I served a Chinese family of three—two adults and a nine-year-old boy. I finished my contract in 2016, but they no longer needed me because their son was going to England to study. I did my best to find another employer, and luckily I signed a new contract with a family of three—two adults and a newborn baby girl. I worked with them from 2016 to 2020. I was grateful and happy with this family, but due to the pandemic, we agreed that I needed to find a new employer because they had to go back to Shanghai. I continued searching for another family. I worked with a Chinese family of three—two adults and a newborn baby boy—and my contract ended on November 13, 2022. I decided to look for a new employer because I didn't want to renew my contract with them. The reason was that I was sleeping on the living room floor for almost two years, and during my holidays, I had to carry my laundry outside to wash because I wasn't allowed to wash my clothes at their home. Their flat is only 340 square feet. During the interview, they told me this, but I had the patience to stay despite feeling uncomfortable. I tried my best to finish my contract to maintain my record. And I found an online European family for whom I have worked for almost 4 years The family of 3.2 adults and 4months baby boy, from November 14, 2022 until present. The reason I don't want to renew my contract because they don't need need my help anymore the reason why I'm searching for a new employer. I handle marketing, cooking, cleaning, and taking care of babies, toddlers, and children—I love kids and treat them like my own. Thank you so much. God bless!
My contract visa will end on November 14, but I went to the immigration they advised me that I can leave on September 30, 2026 it's considered a finished contract but my current employer still needs my help until October 9 so we agreed that we will end on October 10, 2026.Thank you
