Jennelyn

My name is Jennelyn. I am 35 years old, married, and a proud mother of three children from the Philippines. I began working in Hong Kong on July 4, 2022. My first employer was a Chinese family with two young children, aged 2 and 4, and two dogs.   My primary responsibilities included ensuring the children's safety, preparing healthy and nutritious meals, and managing their transportation to and from school and extracurricular activities. I also assisted with their homework, engaged in reading sessions, and participated in playtime. Caring for children can be challenging; however, when you genuinely love what you do and treat them as if they were your own, the work becomes both fulfilling and rewarding.   In addition to childcare, I also performed household chores such as cleaning, washing, and ironing clothes, and cooking. I completed my contract with them on July 4, 2024.   Following that, I joined another employer in August 2024, where I took care of an elderly man aged 91. My focus in this role was on elderly care. I have a strong ability to manage my time effectively, ensuring that all tasks are completed thoroughly and efficiently. I also prioritize being flexible to accommodate the family's needs. Unfortunately, my employer has passed away, so they need to terminate our contract. I am available anytime. 

I believe my patience, creativity, and understanding of child development make me well-suited for my roles. Additionally, I am adaptable and communicate effectively with both children and their parents.
