Greetings.

 

Hi! I am Jennifer Apao, 31yrs old, single and undergrad college student of Information Technology major in Programming. I finished a short-course in Caregiving (with certificate). I trained first aid (with certificate). I have experienced in Caregiving (took care of an elderly) in the Philippines.

I’ve been working here in HK for 5yrs under 2 employers (1st was Chinese family and current employer is Australian family).

My first employer and her family were Chinese (from Mainland). There were 6 of them Husband, wife, 2kids (newborn baby girl and a 2yr old boy), Grandma and Grandpa.My main duty was to do all the household chores (cooking, cleaning, organising, laundry, marketing, grocery, dishes etc.). I helped taking care of the newborn. I spend time with the kids when I’m done with my housework, we play together, reading books, painting, play at the park or playhouse.

I finished my first contract and renewed my contract for a year but the family decided to moved back to China due to covid issues, my second contract was terminated due to relocation (with reference letter from my employer).

 

My current employer is Australian family with 2kids (aged 2&4) and a medium size dog. My main duties are cleaning, cooking sometimes, organising, laundry, ironing, dishes and more). I also walk the dog, feed the dog, take the dog to the beach or set a playdate with the neighbourhood dogs. I helped get the kids ready for school, send them to school bus and pick them after school. I mostly spend time with the kids every afternoon after their school. We play together, reading books, do some activities together or take them to playdates, parks, swimming sometimes and swings. I also attended some of the kids school activities when both parents are not available.

My contract will end this July 19, 2024 and I want to find a new employer due to personal reason which can be discussed during the interview. I can do an interview during my off days (Sunday) or holidays. Please feel free to contact me for an interview. Thank you.
