Hello ma’am/sir, I hope you’re having a great day! My name is Jinky, and I’m from the Philippines. I’m 31 years old and single, with two kids who are 6 years old and 3 years old. I graduated from college with a degree in Computer Secretarial and Front Office Services. I used to work in Taiwan as a machine operator, but I couldn’t finish my contract because the company went bankrupt. They gave me a certificate saying they had to lay off employees. I also have certifications in Bread and Pastry NCII and a Domestic Helper/Caretaker Certificate.

Right now, I’m in Hong Kong working as a domestic helper for a couple and their two kids, who are 4 years old and 2 years old. I’ve been here for about a year, and there are two of us helpers who share tasks and holidays.

I’m thinking of breaking my contract, and I can explain the reasons for that in the interview if needed.

To my future employer, if you choose to hire me, I will do my best to fulfill my job and responsibilities. I promise to treat you like family, and I am eager to learn to speak Cantonese. I know a little bit of Mandarin, too.

I can cook and I’m excited to learn more about Chinese cuisine.
