Hi, I’m Joanne, and I’m 46 years old. I’m from the Philippines. I’ve worked as a domestic helper in Saudi Arabia for almost 4 years, from 2019 to 2023. During that time, I took care of 2 adults, 3 children, and 1 infant. My main tasks included cleaning, cooking, washing clothes, ironing, and looking after the kids. I sometimes helped them with their homework too. Right now, I’m in Hong Kong, taking care of a family with 5 members, 1 elderly person, 2 adults, and 2 children. My duties are similar here: cleaning, ironing, cooking, doing the marketing, washing clothes, and taking the children to school and helping them with their homework when I can. I've been working with them for 3 years and 2 months, but I’ve decided to break my contract for personal reasons, and my last working day will be on August 24, 2026.
