Hi, I’m Lareza. I’m 41 years old, married, and I have three kids. I graduated from college with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology in the Philippines. I have almost 10 years of experience working as a domestic helper. During this time, I've worked for three employers, including my current one. My first employer was a Chinese family with three kids, and I started with them when the kids were just four months old and stayed until my contract was finished. My second employer was a Chinese-Korean family with two kids, the oldest was one year old and the youngest was born while I was there. I worked with them through three contracts. For the last one, they moved to Singapore and asked me to come with them. I had promised to only work for one contract there, as I wanted to return to Hong Kong. They were understanding and helped me find a new job, even giving me a reference letter that really helped. Now I’m with my current employer, but to be honest, I’m not very happy here. I've been working with them for a year and three months. I think the difficulty comes from a lack of open communication. Still, I’m committed to doing my best and staying patient. If given the chance, I’m eager to be a good helper, a good listener, and respectful. I’m hardworking and can manage my duties well, whether I have supervision or not.
