Hi, I’m Lojelyn, and I’m 38 years old from the Philippines. I’ve been a domestic helper for over 12 years now, working in different countries. I spent 8 years in Singapore with two different employers, then I worked in Lebanon for about 2 years and 8 months. Right now, I’m in Hong Kong, where I’ve been working for more than 2 years with 2 employers. I just finished my contract with my last employer, where I took care of a family of two adults. My main duties included looking after two big dogs, house cleaning, ironing, cleaning the pond, gardening, washing the car, and cooking. Currently, I’ve been with my new employer for 2 months, serving an Indian family of two adults, doing similar tasks. However, I’m planning to break my contract for personal reasons and can leave anytime once I find a new employer.

Before I became a domestic helper, I worked as a local helper in my home country for almost 3 years, where my job was to care for a newborn.
