Hi, I’m Lorna, and I’m 45 years old. I’ve worked for 6 years in Saudi Arabia caring for elderly people aged 65 to 75. They have three daughters who are 30, 28, and 19 years old. I’ve been with my current employer for 10 months here in Hong Kong. My employer is a couple, ages 30 and 35, and a son who is now 4 years old. The little boy I take care of is 4 years old, and he sometimes hits me. His parents haven’t stepped in to change this behavior, and I've ended up with scratches and injuries on my face. I love working with children and I’m very hard-working, but this situation has become unsafe for me. I’m planning to break my contract and I know I’ll be released once I find a new employer. I really hope you can give me a chance to work with your family. 🙏
