Hi, I'm Gina Lyn, I'm 45 years old. I’ve been working as a domestic helper for 13 years. I spent 2 of those years in Jordan from 2013 to 2015, and the rest here in Hong Kong with different employers. Right now, I’m working for a couple who has one child, and I’ve been with them for 1 year and 9 months. My main duties are cooking, housekeeping, and childcare. My contract will finish on November 22, 2026. I’ve learned a lot on the job, both good and bad, and I see the bad experiences as lessons. I consider myself patient and resilient, but I appreciate being treated with respect and not like I don't understand things. I try to figure things out on my own, but if I’m unsure, I’ll ask questions clearly. I prefer to plan ahead and will confirm things with the person I’m working with.
