Maglaiza

My name is Maglaiza, and I'm a 42-year-old Filipina domestic helper. I’m married and have three kids. I started working in Hong Kong in 2018 and I’m still here, going into 2026. My first job was for a family with two adults, a newborn baby, and a 3-year-old boy in Tai Po. I finished my contract there from 2018 to 2020. My second employer was a family with two adults and an elderly person who was 100 years old in Mid-Levels. I worked there for a year from 2022 to 2023, but my contract ended early because they moved to Canada and sadly, the elderly person passed away. After that, I worked for a lady in Sai Wan Ho on Hong Kong Island from 2023 to 2025, and I completed my contract there as well.

Now, my current employer is a family of two adults and one daughter in Wan Chai. I’ve been with them for almost a year from 2025 to 2026. My main duties have been cooking and marketing. Unfortunately, my employer is facing some financial issues, and my contract has been terminated. My released date will be on November 26, 2026. I was given a good reference letter incase needed.
