MARIA JOAN

Hi, I’m Maria Joan, and I’m 47 years old. I’m married and have three grown-up sons. I’ve been a domestic helper for about seven years now, three of those years were in Taiwan, where I worked for a family of five and took care of a six-month-old baby. I’ve also spent almost four years here in Hong Kong. In my first job here from 2003 to 2005, I worked for a family with a couple and their three kids. Then, my second contract from 2023 to 2025 was with a Chinese family, where I helped with two adults and a baby who was just two months old. My duties include cooking, housekeeping, baby care, tutoring, and doing the marketing.

Currently, I’ve been with my employer for 10 months, looking after a mother and her twelve-year-old son. For personal reasons, I’m planning to break my contract and I can be released anytime once I find a new employer. I hope you’ll consider me for your household. I believe I’m a mature and proactive person, and I’m respectful, patient, a multitasker, hardworking, calm, honest, smart, and flexible. I really love taking care of children; it truly brings me joy. I approach my work with happiness and dedication, and I am loyal to the families I serve, putting my heart into what I do. I try to balance my daily tasks while making sure to meet my employers' needs. I’m also proud to say that even at my age, I still have a lot of energy and I strive to do my best in everything.
