Maria Lyn

Hi, I’m Maria Lyn, and I’m 31 years old. I’ve been working as a domestic helper for 8 years now, for 6 years with my current employer. From August 15, 2020, to September 2026, I’ve been taking care of two adults and their two dogs, a Rottweiler and a Jack Russell Terrier. My main job is to look after the dogs, especially when the owners are away traveling. I make sure their space is clean by washing their beds and changing their water regularly. I feed them, take them for walks, and ensure they get enough exercise, like playing fetch and swimming in the rock pools during the summer. My employer even enrolled the Rottweiler in basic police dog training and behavioral training, and I attended those sessions as well. I also took the basic training for the Jack Russell at the SPCA. I cook meals and prepare packed lunches too, and I can make Chinese, Indian, and vegetarian dishes. On top of that, I handle general household chores like cleaning, laundry, ironing, and organizing things around the house.

Before this job, I worked from August 28, 2018, to August 14, 2020. I pride myself on being honest, hardworking, and a quick learner. I also keep hygiene in mind, don’t smoke, and I’m debt-free without any loans. My English is good enough for conversations. I am finishing my current contract on September 12, 2026.
