Hi, I’m Tina. I’m 48 years old and a single mom of three kids—my son is 22, and my two daughters are 20 and 18. I’m the fifth of eight siblings; I have five sisters and two brothers. I was born in Romblon, which is known as the marble capital of the Philippines. My main reason for working here is to support my kids and my mom and give them a good life. For the past 10 years, I've been taking care of an Indian family of four. I have experience caring for newborns, toddlers, kids, and teens. I also handle cooking, grocery shopping, and other household chores. I’m looking for a new employer because I want to find better opportunities that align with my career goals and offer better compensation and benefits. I hope to work for someone who treats me fairly, encourages a healthy work environment, and supports my growth. Right now, my daily routine involves going to the market and grocery shopping, sometimes visiting the library to borrow books for my kids, and managing the kitchen. I cook their breakfasts, prepare snack and lunch boxes, make dinner, help with their homework, and guide them on hygiene. I also take them to outdoor activities and playdates. I assist my coworker with laundry, ironing, and cleaning when needed. I have a special skill in cooking—if there’s a new dish to try, I can follow instructions or watch a video to learn. I’ve had childcare training and international emergency first aid training at Matilda Hospital here in Hong Kong. I also completed household management training in Jeddah while working with Mr. Jamal Khashoggi, the Saudi journalist. He even sent me for cooking training in Jeddah. Recently, I took basic computer training here in Hong Kong to refresh my skills and plan to keep learning more. I’m a flexible and happy person. I love kids, dogs, and cats, and I enjoy being in nature and singing. I don’t smoke or drink, and I can work independently without supervision.
