Hi, my name is Maria. Right now, I’m working in Hong Kong for a Chinese family that has three adults and one child. I started this job on August 5, 2024, and I’m still here. My main responsibility is taking care of a 5-year-old girl. I help her with her shower, dry her hair, get her dressed, and do her hair. I also prepare her meals and take her to school every day, picking her up after school as well. I bring her to activities too, like ballet, taekwondo, and ukulele class. Besides that, I handle household chores like cooking and deep cleaning the house, including the bathrooms, bedrooms, living room, and kitchen. I enjoy baking simple things like cakes, bread, pizzas, and muffins. I also know how to cook Middle Eastern dishes like traditional biryani, kabsa, salad, and marag, along with some Italian pasta dishes.

I really love cooking, and I can follow recipes easily, even without supervision. I manage my time well with daily tasks at home. Before I came to Hong Kong, I worked in the United Arab Emirates where I took care of four dogs—one German Shepherd, two Pomeranians, a Swiss Shepherd, and one local dog. I was responsible for cooking and cleaning the whole house by myself. Since homes in the Middle East are quite large, it was a lot to handle, but I managed just fine. I’m looking for a good employer who cares and respects me as a person. I’m a caring individual who follows rules and works hard. If you treat me well, I will do my best for you in return.
