Hello, I’m Maricel. I’m 42 years old, originally from the Philippines, and I’m married with a son. I believe in being honest, trustworthy, and hardworking, and I really love being around kids. I studied secondary education, so I have a background in teaching. For the past three years in the Philippines, I worked as a private tutor for preschool and primary school students. I moved to Hong Kong in 2013, where I worked for a Chinese family with four members: a couple and their kids who were 2 and 5 years old. My responsibilities included taking care of the kids, tutoring them, marketing, cleaning, cooking, and sometimes washing the car. I was with them for two years. After that, I worked for another Chinese family of four, with children who were 3 and 5 years old. My tasks were similar: taking care of the kids, cleaning, cooking, marketing, and car washing. I stayed with them for almost six years until they relocated to the UK. Most recently, I worked for a Chinese family of three, which included an elderly couple and their daughter. My role was mainly to take care of the elderly, manage their medicine, take them to appointments, and help with cleaning, cooking, and shopping. I was with them for four and a half years. So altogether, I have over 12 years of experience working in Hong Kong. Thank you for your time!
