Hi, I'm Maricel. I'm 41 years old and married with three kids, and I'm from the Philippines. My first job as a domestic helper was back in 2015 in Kuwait with a Muslim family. I was taking care of 10 family members, which was tough because I had to manage everything on my own, but I learned a lot from that experience. It really taught me patience and showed me that I'm a hard worker. After that, I worked in Hong Kong, taking care of a toddler who was 1 and an 8-year-old boy. It was a challenging role, but I love kids, so it was a joy for me. My employers were really nice, and I finished my first contract there, but I couldn't complete my second contract because I had to go back home for a serious family matter. Then, I applied again in Hong Kong and found my current employer, who has 2 adults and 2 kids. It's similar to my first job, so I'm comfortable with it. I'll finish my contract on September 16, 2025, and I'm looking for a new employer. I enjoy baking, and I bake bread for them every week for breakfast.
