Hi there, I’m Maricel, 46 years old, and I'm a single parent with one child. I've been working here in Hong Kong for 10 years now. My first job was with an Indian family, which was a great experience. I learned how to cook Indian food, even though they were all vegetarian. Then I worked for a Chinese-Korean family, where I took care of two teenagers and a 9-month-old baby. I also looked after their corgi. I would go to the wet market, cook meals twice a day, clean the house, set up playdates, walk the dog, and give him baths. I really enjoyed my time with that family, but they needed to relocate. After that, I joined a Spanish family with a 5-year-old and two teenagers. Here, I picked up how to cook Spanish dishes and other Western meals. I was in charge of groceries and wet market shopping, making snacks, and cooking lunch and dinner for the kids. I also helped with gardening, took the kids to school and their activities, and organized playdates at the park. I even hosted dinner parties for 15 to 30 people, which was another great experience. The family was very nice, and I had the chance to share meals with them. As for me, I consider myself to be honest, loyal, hardworking, adaptable, and friendly. I love to smile and I truly care about people. I’m easy to get along with, understanding, patient, calm, efficient, proactive, and trustworthy. I love pets and I'm always willing to learn new things. I respect others and you can ask my previous employers about my character 😊. Unfortunately, I was terminated due to financial issues with the family. I will be released on August 10, 2026.
