Hi, I’m Maricel. I’m 43 years old and currently working as a domestic helper here in Hong Kong. Before this, I spent 2 years in Malaysia and 4 years in Saudi Arabia. I've been with my current employer in Hong Kong for about 1 year and 8 months now. I take care of a 92-year-old elderly person, and it’s just the two of us at home since his children live abroad. My daily tasks include cooking, doing laundry, ironing, checking her blood pressure, giving her medicine, and giving her 3-hour massages every night. Honestly, my hands are starting to hurt from the massages, so I’ve decided not to renew my contract here. I will finish my contract on December 19, 2026. I consider myself hardworking, honest, patient, and obedient. I have experience caring for children, the elderly, and people with disabilities, and I'm capable of doing all the household chores well. I always follow instructions carefully, I’m open to learning new things, and I believe in treating my employers with respect and kindness.
