Marilou

Hi, my name is Marilou. I’m the oldest of five siblings in my family. I’m a single mother to a wonderful 12-year-old boy. I grew up in Sto. Nino Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur, in Mindanao, Philippines.

I’m working here in Hong Kong to help support my family and pay for my parents' medicine.

My first job abroad was in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where I completed a 2-year contract. I took care of the house chores and especially enjoyed cooking for a newborn baby.

Now, I'm currently working in Hong Kong, and my contract will end this coming August. Some of my skills include swimming, singing, and cooking.

For my next employer, I hope to find someone kind-hearted who treats me like part of the family. My daily routine involves tidying up the living room, preparing milk and meals for the baby, and taking care of them when they wake up. I change diapers, wash their face, and after breakfast, we play and read together to help them learn. Then, I prepare the baby's lunch and feed them, clean the dishes, and tidy up the kitchen. When the baby is napping, I clean the house and bathroom and do the laundry. I also get ready for the baby's dinner. I have a nurturing personality, and I truly love taking care of babies and kids as if they were my own. I’m honest, hardworking, and patient, and I really enjoy what I do.
