Hi, I’m Marilyn, I’m 43 years old and I’m from the Philippines. I’ve been working as a domestic helper in Hong Kong for 9 years. My first job started on February 15, 2017, where I took care of a toddler while my employer was expecting her second child. I stayed with that Chinese family for 2 years and 1 month, and they actually extended my contract for another month. My second job was with a Chinese British family. I started there when they had a 2-year-old and my employer was 8 months pregnant with their second child. I looked after both of them when the baby was born, and took on all the responsibilities since both parents worked. They then had a third child and hired another helper, so I worked there for 5 years. I had to break my contract for a good reason, as my brother passed away and I needed to return to the Philippines to take care of my 4 daughters.

Currently, I’m working with another Chinese family. I’ve been taking care of their child since he was 3 months old, and now he’s 2 years old. I also cook Chinese food for them, and while I know some basic Western recipes, I’m eager to learn more. I’m finishing my 2-year contract on February 12, 2027. I’m reliable and trustworthy, and I can manage my tasks independently. I cook well, clean well, and have experience caring for newborns, toddlers, and children. I hope you might consider hiring me.
