Hello, my name is Marina, and I’m 23 years old. I’ve been living in Hong Kong for two years now. During this time, I’ve been taking care of an 84-year-old grandmother who is in pretty good health. I can cook simple meals, but my current employer doesn’t allow me to cook for her. I do enjoy cleaning, though! I started working when I was 15, before I came to Hong Kong, I cared for four children in one family for about five years.

My contract is actually supposed to finish this October 2026, but I signed a new one with my employer about 2 months ago. After signing, I realized that we’re not really a great fit, so I’m planning to break my contract for personal reasons. I’m ready to leave as soon as I find a new employer. I tend to be cheerful and sociable, while my employer is more of an introvert. I can speak English and understand a bit of Cantonese, I can usually get the gist of what people say to me, but speaking it myself is still a bit challenging. I hope you might consider hiring me.
