Hi, I’m Maritess. I’m 42 years old and a single parent with two kids, and I’m from the Philippines. I’ve been working as a domestic helper for two years in Dubai, UAE, mainly as a nanny. Before that, I spent two years in Kuwait doing similar work. For the past eight years, I've been in Hong Kong, working with one family as a nanny for their two kids—I’ve been with them since they were born. They’re now a 4-year-old girl and an 8-year-old boy, and I’m the one who takes care of them. My main duties include caring for them from infancy to toddlerhood—like changing diapers, bathing, feeding them, preparing healthy meals, reading storybooks, and making sure they are safe. Besides that, I also do cooking, housekeeping, laundry, and shopping. I'll finish my contract on January 5, 2025, and I'm looking for a new employer. I pride myself on being honest and reliable, and I always try to take the initiative, whether I have supervision or not.
