Hello, my name is Marivel. I'm 44 years old and I've been working as a domestic helper in Hong Kong for about 12 years now. I started in 2009 with an Indian family, where I took care of three kids. My tasks included dropping them off at school, cleaning the house, and ironing clothes finished contract in 2013. Then from 2017 to 2019, I worked for a Chinese family with one child who was just a year old. I was responsible for cooking, cleaning, ironing, and feeding the baby. After that, from 2019 to 2021, I was with another Chinese family with a 5-year-old son. My duties were mainly cleaning, ironing, and cooking. My most recent contract, from 2022 to 2024, was with another Indian family that had two kids. I took care of the children and handled house cleaning and school drop-offs.

Currently, I’m working for an Indian family that I started with in February 2025. They have a couple and two kids, and my main duties include marketing, cleaning the house, ironing, cooking, and taking the kids to their activities. I will finish my contract on February 18, 2027.
