Hi, I’m Marivic, and I’m 43 years old. I've been a domestic helper for almost 16 years. For 8 of those years, I worked in Qatar, helping a couple with their 5 kids. My main responsibilities there were cooking, housekeeping, and taking care of the children. Now, I’ve been in Hong Kong for almost 8 years, where I've served two different employers. Right now, I’m with my current employer, taking care of a couple with 1 child. I've been with them since November 2022, and my main jobs here are also cooking, housekeeping, and childcare. My experiences at work have been quite challenging, but I’ve learned a lot. I believe that if you’re willing to learn, nothing is impossible. I’m a simple and independent woman who works hard for my family. I have goals in life, and that’s why I’m committed to doing my best in this job I’ve chosen. I really hope to find a good employer who treats me like family, because I think mutual respect is key to having a great relationship between an employer and a helper. I am finishing my contract on November 26, 2026. Looking forward to meeting my future employer. Thank you!
