Hi, I'm Mary Ann. I'm married and I have a 15-year-old son. I've been working abroad since I was 19 years old. 😇

I've been the main provider for my family. My experiences have taught me a lot about patience, love, and even suffering. But through it all, I've built my courage and determination to learn more. I've learned how to handle different situations, understood various cultures, and even picked up cooking skills. I’ve adapted to different weather and learned how to care for both the elderly and children. I feel blessed to have these experiences, and I always put my plans and actions into God's hands. I’m dedicated to my work.

UAE: Emirates

1991-1993

Singapore: 1996-1999 (British/Indian family)

And here in Hong Kong:

From 2000 to 2004 and then again from 2010 to 2014, I worked for the same employer. They had two kids, a boy and a girl aged 7 and 13, and I stayed with them for 8.5 years. I earned a minimum wage with bonuses.

In 2014-2015, I worked for a second British/Indian family with two boys aged 6 and 8. I was with them for 10 months until they moved to France. I earned above the minimum wage, starting at 4,270 and they increased it to 5,000.

From 2016 until March 20, 2026, I’ve been with my current employer. My duties include taking care of their two girls, ages 4 and 6, along with general household tasks. Now, they are 14 and 16, so they don’t need me as much anymore. I was earning 6,200 plus bonuses.

Throughout all these jobs, I've taken care of children, and I believe the duration I've been with my employers speaks to my character and dedication to my work.

As a person, I'm caring, loving, and always willing to learn. I'm open to feedback, hardworking, honest, and trustworthy. I love cooking, baking, and keeping a tidy home. I don’t have any vices, I try to stay positive, and I am a God-fearing person.
