Hi, I’m Mary Cris, 39 years old from the Philippines. Right now, I’m in Hong Kong, where I’ve been working as a domestic helper for the same employer for 11 years and 5 months. I take care of a family with 2 adults and 2 kids. My main tasks include cooking, housekeeping, and looking after the kids. My employer is relocating out of Hong Kong, so they have to terminate my contract, and I will be release on January 31, 2027. I can work on my own without supervision! I can cook simple Chinese and Asian dishes, do shopping, manage a budget, and even tend to a garden. I also help with taking the kids to school and getting their things ready.
