Mary Grace

Hi, my name is Mary Grace, and I’m 34 years old. I’ve been working as a domestic helper in Hong Kong for 6 years with 2 different employers. My first employer was a Chinese family, and I stayed with them for 4 years. They had 2 adults and 3 boys aged 3, 4, and 7. My main job was taking care of the kids, which included taking them to school, picking them up, and driving them to activities like ice hockey, basketball, tennis, art, and swimming lessons. I also helped get their sports gear ready. Around the house, I did chores like cleaning, tidying up, washing and ironing clothes, and sometimes I would do the grocery shopping and cook meals for the family. I completed my contract with them.

Now, I’m working with my current employer who is also Chinese. They have 2 adults, 1 boy, and 1 girl, as well as 2 dogs. My main duties include general cleaning, laundry (washing and ironing clothes), occasionally shopping for groceries, and cooking meals for the kids. I also take care of the dogs, which involves feeding them and taking them for long walks every day. I am finishing my 2-year contract on January 17, 2027.
