Mary Rose

Hi, I’m Mary Rose. I’m 26 years old, and I’ve been working here in Hong Kong as a domestic helper for about 5 months with my current employer. I take care of a family with 5 members, including 4 adults and a newborn. However, I am planning to break my contract for personal reasons. I can be released anytime when I find a new employer.

Before coming to Hong Kong, I worked as a local helper in my home country, the Philippines for 5 years. With my first employer, I completed a 2-year contract, and my main duties were taking care of pets, cleaning, and gardening. I also helped out with washing, ironing clothes, and some cooking. With my second employer, I finished a 3-year contract with a Chinese family, where I mainly focused on cleaning, washing, and ironing clothes, and assisting with a 10-year-old child and pet care.
