Mercy

Hello, I am Mercy. I’m 41 years old, married, and I have two kids. I’ve worked as a nanny for about 7 years back in Russia, and now I’m doing the same here in Hong Kong. I’ve been with my current family for 3 months. They are a family of four, with two kids: a 10-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy who has special needs. It’s been a bit challenging for me because I didn’t know about the special needs during the interview, and it wasn’t mentioned at all. Planning to break my contract once I find a new employer. One of my biggest goals is to live and work abroad, meet new people, and experience different cultures. I love languages and would like to improve my skills. I’m fluent in English, have basic Russian and Mandarin, and I studied Spanish for five years, but I'm still at a basic level.

I’ve always wanted to be a nanny because I enjoy working with children and experiencing everyday life with them.
