Hi, I’m Merlita, and I’m 42 years old. I’ve been working in Hong Kong as a domestic helper for about 3 years and 5 months, taking care of a couple and their two kids. My daily tasks include cooking, housekeeping, and looking after the children. For personal reasons, I’m planning to break my contract, and I’m available to start with a new employer as soon as I find one. Being a domestic helper can be really challenging but also a great learning experience, especially because one of the toddlers I care for has mild autism.
