My name is Marites, and I’m 41 years old. I’m from the Philippines, and I’ve been working here in Hong Kong for over 6 years as a domestic helper with two different employers. Right now, I’ve been with my current employer for more than 2 years. I just finished my 2-year contract and renewed it. I take care of a family with 2 adults and 2 kids. My main tasks include cooking, housekeeping, and shopping for groceries. However, I’m planning to break my contract and can leave anytime once I find a new employer.

The reason I want to leave is that I don’t have a private room. Coco is already 13 years old, and we’re sleeping in the same room, which makes me uncomfortable. I want to find a new employer where I can have more privacy. I consider myself honest, hardworking, and trustworthy, and I really hope someone will give me a chance to work in your household.
