DEAR FUTURE EMPLOYER,

My name is Mylene, and I’m a 48-year-old Filipina. I have a degree, but I’ve spent most of my career working here in Hong Kong with both local and expatriate families, which has given me lots of experience as a house helper. For the past 22 years, I’ve been a domestic helper, and during this time, I have learned a lot about cooking, fine dining, guest relations, housekeeping, and hotel room management. I have gained a lot of knowledge in various cooking techniques and pet care, including washing and grooming. I also have experience with newborns, infants, children, and teens, and I always prioritize their health, safety, and growth. I truly care about their personal and character development, and I always strive to be a positive influence in their lives.

Currently, I’ve been with my present employer for 5 years, taking care of 2 adults. My main responsibilities include cooking, housekeeping, and pet care. Unfortunately, my contract has been terminated, and I will be released on August 30, 2026. In terms of household management, I oversee daily operations when working in larger private homes alongside other helpers. I can also manage everything alone in smaller homes as the sole helper.
