Hello Employers! My name is Myre, and I’m 38 years old. I've been working in Hong Kong as a domestic helper for almost 12 years. I spent 8 years with one family from 2012 to 2020. I started with them when their oldest daughter was a newborn, and I stayed with them until they welcomed their youngest son. In that role, I took care of all the household chores for a family of four. This included daily cleaning, laundry, ironing, marketing, and preparing meals. I also provided dedicated childcare for their 8-year-old daughter and their 7-year-old son with ASD. This meant driving them to and from school, their sports activities, and attending all of his therapy sessions like occupational, speech, and psychological therapy.

Now, I’m with my second and current employer, where I’ve been working since 2022. My contract will finish soon in September. I started with this family when their only child was a newborn, and he is now 4 years old. My daily tasks here are similar; I manage all household chores including laundry, cooking, ironing, and cleaning. I also take him to school and various activities, help with his homework, read books with him, and play together both at home and in the playground. My contract will finish on September 13, 2026.
